ECV Mirror Re-Dedication At The World Famous Sultana Bar

While the Lost Dutchman Chapter of E Clampus Vitus was in the Kaibab National Forest near Ash Fork and Williams, Arizona over the weekend, an ECV mirror was re-dedicated at the World Famous Sultana Bar in Williams on Saturday morning.

Since parking is hard to come by in town due to hordes of tourists, many of us headed over there about an hour before the ceremonies (and to do some drinking). I rode in with Mike Manning, who will be the 2023 Humbug of the chapter. Williams is the prime gateway town of Grand Canyon National Park along Interstate 40. The Sultana Bar is on Historic Route 66.

The World Famous Sultana Bar opened in 1912 and it consists of a bar and theater.

There is a shooting range across the street where one can shoot a machine gun (or so they say). There is a vintage Jeep in front of the establishment.

Below are photos of the gathering.

It was a most Satisfactory event!
