Got A Little Rain

It's funny how things work out sometimes.

The weather here in New Mexico has been dry as a bone for several weeks. We're now in monsoon season but it hadn't rained until yesterday evening.

After dinner last night, I went out and watered the trees in my yard. Afterwards, I went back indoors to watch some television.

A little later, I noticed that the deck was wet. Yes, we had a little rain squall come through.

This morning, the deck was again wet (most of it dried), so we got a little more rain overnight and my phone's weather apps indicated more rain today (one said 72% chance).

Well, at least the trees are getting some more water.
