Tricky Day Ahead

Above, during today's walk in Barking Spider Acre.

Tomorrow is going to be a bit tricky.

In the afternoon, I'll be taking Larry Lucier to his weekly physical therapy in Gallup. I'll be getting a haircut a few doors away while he's doing that. I'll be driving Larry's bus (about the size of a Class C motorhome).

But the tricky part is that the National Weather Service says (below) that rain and possible snow showers will be coming in after 2:00 PM, the time we'll be in Gallup.

Wednesday
Rain likely, possibly mixed with snow showers, mainly after 2pm. Some thunder is also possible. Increasing clouds, with a high near 48. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Wednesday Night
Rain and snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 25. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

The good news is that the Mustang has been fixed. It turned out to be a problem with the inertia switch in the trunk that had been going off, stopping the fuel flow. While the car was in the shop, I had them change the fuel filter. They said the one I had was a bit plugged, but not enough to cause any problems. I had them change it anyway.

In the meantime today, I took a walk around Barking Spider Acre to check things out. I saw some large footprints in the muddy ground. Some were either a large dog or a coyote. I also saw some deer tracks.
