About three hours ago, we had a storm come through with downpours in Jamestown.
A few miles away (about 10 miles), New Mexico Highway 118 was closed due to flooding near Fort Wingate. Highway 118 was once a part of U.S. Route 66.
The rain has stopped for now.
That stretch of Highway 118 gets flooded quite frequently in heavy rainstorms. Much of it gets covered in mud.
