"Godzilla Week" Has A Familiar Ring To It

We are seven days away from opening day of Legendary Pictures/Warner Bros. Godzilla.

To commemorate the event, they are planning a week-long series of promotions. They are calling these seven days "Godzilla Week."  Sounds catchy...and very familiar.

According to Cosmic Book News:

All week long Legendary will celebrate Godzilla, and they have also announced a collaboration with some of the biggest YouTube creators featuring original Godzilla content.

To herald the long-awaited arrival of Godzilla, we are excited to officially kick-off Godzilla Week, a 7-day celebration that will feature a wide range of exclusive videos and coverage from all across the world, celebrating the one and only King of the Monsters. The wait is almost over.

"Godzilla Week" was declared by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in July 2000. I helped to organize it with the office of Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
