Next "Grit Series" Marathon: October 15 In Lone Pine

The next Grit Series event of the John Wayne Cancer Foundation will be held October 15 in Lone Pine, California.

From the Grit Series website:

This awe-inspiring course goes through the Alabama Hills National Scenic Area and features dirt roads, single track trails, hills and spectacular views of .Mt. Whitney. The Run benefits the John Wayne Cancer Foundation so every step you take advances the fight against cancer through pioneering cancer research and programs.

The run consists of a Half Marathon and a 10K.
