For my daily walk, I headed over into the "Barking Spider Acre" to go read the electric meter before mailing off my electric bill.
We have to do our own meter-reading until this coming April as a new electric substation is under construction and the electric company has no means, at present, to read our meters electronically. So, until then we have to do it ourselves.

It is just as well that I have to go do it as I have to get some walking exercise in per the doctor's orders. It is a nice morning, despite the clouds.
