Finally, Some Rain!

It had to happen!

Just when I watered the trees yesterday, we are getting rain. Finally!

So far, it has been light rain, but steady. We may be getting heavier rains later, along with thunderstorms. (That would be nice, I can use a good light show!)

According to the National Weather Service:

Today
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a high near 62. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a low around 51. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Monday
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Monday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. West wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south after midnight.
