Snow Showers Arrived

Above, the view minutes ago from the back porch. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Finally, the forecast of snow showers came to pass.

It is now snowing outside. As I posted earlier, there seemed to be some variance in forecasts by the National Weather Service and The Weather Channel.

It appear the snow showers started about a half hour ago.

Well, I guess the National Weather Service was right. I just checked The Weather Channel, it says 0% chance of precipitation.

From the National Weather Service:

Tonight
Scattered snow showers, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. Northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
