This morning, I went up the hill to Jamestown Navajo artist Richard Yazzie's home to assist him in loading up his SUV with paintings he is displaying at this year's Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial at Red Rock Park.
The Ceremonial opens today and runs through August 13.
While there, we chatted about art and the southwest. I showed him some of Asya's work, which impressed him.
