For those who have never been to Tokyo and would like to visit the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Daily Life has posted a summary of things to see at the palace. It was written by Yuta Sakaguchi.
He begins his summary with:
The Imperial Palace is the former Edo-jo Castle. It was originally the castle of Tokugawa Shogun family and nowadays it is used as the Imperial Palace. On this article I would like to introduce the Imperial Palace, the outer garden of the Imperial Palace, the East Garden of the Imperial Palace and Kitanomaru Park, which are surrounded by the inner moat of the former Edo-jo Castle.He notes that the outer areas of the Imperial Palace is popular with joggers.
