We're in a new month and foreign tourists are allowed into Japan again. It is time to take a look at what Americans (particularly, the high rollers) can expect when they exchange their bucks for Japanese yen in Tokyo.
Jiji Press reported:
Tokyo, Dec. 8 (Jiji Press)--The dollar was lower around 136.70 yen in late Tokyo trading Thursday after cutting its earlier gains due to position-adjusting sales.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 136.71-71 yen, down from 137.45-45 yen at the same time Wednesday.
