Snow Coming

It looks like some snow is coming in today.

The National Weather Service Albuquerque bureau posted the following on Facebook:



Plenty of unsettled weather on the docket today. Strong winds and dry conditions will give rise to critical fire weather across portions of central and eastern New Mexico. An incoming storm system will give snow showers a head start across the Chuskas and Tusas Mountains. 

The main website of the National Weather Service forecasts the following for the next few days for Jamestown:

 Today

A chance of rain and snow showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight
Snow showers. Low around 19. South wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Thursday
A 50 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 11am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 36. West wind 15 to 20 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Thursday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 17. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday
Sunny, with a high near 42. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
Friday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 15.

Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 49.
