Our next chance for snow (or even rain) comes this week starting tomorrow.
But the next major storm may hit our region (Gallup/Jamestown) on Thursday.
According to KRQE:
Our next winter storm system will begin moving into western New Mexico late Thursday and bring widespread chances for mostly valley rain and mountain snow through Saturday morning. Travel impacts outside of the mountains look to stay minor for now, but that could change with the timing of the storm. Another 6″+ of snow may be possible in the northern mountains with locally higher amounts. There will also be a good chance for rain in the Albuquerque Metro Friday.
I hope it does. We sure do need it.
