The Marxist Democrats who control the California state government are hell-bent on making the state so expensive that nobody wants to live there. I got out eight years ago.

Led by buffoon Gov. Gavin Newsom's government is causing oil companies to close up their refinery and gas station shops and leave. This will eventually cause the price of gasoline to skyrocket to $10-12 per gallon according to industry experts.

DOGE To Look At Fort Knox?

With DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) beginning their work, led by Elon Musk, there are several government agencies that are targets for their audits. They started with USAID with interesting results.

It is said that the IRS may be audited soon. 

One place that should be audited, at least according to Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, is Fort Knox, where the U.S. gold depository is located. How much gold is there is a secret. Even the interior of Fort Knox is a secret. The Fort Knox set in Goldfinger came from set designer Ken Adam's imagination.

A couple of years ago, I blogged an article on Fort Knox with the title, "Does Fort Knox Still Have Gold?" It is probably a safe guess that it does, but the question remains, how much?

The Federalist blog posted an article, "Elon Musk to audit Fort Knox Gold?" It would be interesting to find out how much gold is there and, also, who owns it. 

Considering that gold's current COMEX spot price is around $2,913/toz, it would be a good idea to audit Fort Knox to see just how much gold is there.

If there is ever a reason to be grateful for moving out of Commiefornia, this one gets the grand prize!

Last year, the one-party state passed legislation making people's electric bills based on income rather than actual usage. Sounds like something out of a socialist/communist country, doesn't it?

A post in The Federalist blog today caught my attention. So I did some searching. It didn't take long.

According to the Washington Free Beacon:

California governor Gavin Newsom is standing by the state’s soon-to-be-implemented "equitable" policy to base electricity bills on income, rather than usage, even as public and political opposition to the idea builds in the Democratic coalition.

A spokesman for the governor said on Tuesday that Newsom is looking forward to seeing a final proposal from the state's utilities commission "that is consistent with" the 2022 law that required the agency to devise an income-based billing system.

"California must combat climate change by rapidly expanding the use of clean electricity in our vehicles and buildings, while at the same time making it more affordable for low-income Californians," the spokesman said in a statement.

Newsom’s commitment to California’s income-based electricity billing plan followed a press conference by a group of Democratic lawmakers who want to reverse the policy, after they voted in its favor as part of a 2022 budget bill. Citing public outcry, they condemned the plan as another price hike for Californians’ astronomical energy bills that would punish conservation-minded households while also subjecting everyone to invasive income checks. 

See? This is what you get when a Marxist political party has total control of the state's government. They are using the excuse of "climate change" (which is total bullplop) as an excuse to impose this Marxist act.
