WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Reveals USAID Waste

Above, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Elon Musk certainly has his work cut out for him in rooting out governmental waste of U.S. tax dollars. He's only just begun.

That is the subject of an article in The Gateway Pundit. The targeted agency, USAID, has wasted our tax dollars in foreign countries. It was revealed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

They include:

• “$1.5M to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces.”

• “$70k for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland.”

• “$47k for a transgender opera in Colombia.”

• “$32k for a transgender comic book in Peru.”

The article began with:

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt busted out the receipts this afternoon, sharing just how the US Agency for International Development (USAID) spends taxpayer dollars. And what she revealed will leave your blood boiling.

During a short press conference outside the White House, Leavitt responded to woke critics who have thrown tantrums over X owner and DOGE Chairman Elon Musk and President Trump daring to take an ax to one of one of the most corrupt agencies in America. As TGP readers know, USAID is a foreign aid agency that many see as a front for CIA activities.

While speaking to reporters, Leavitt held up a sheet of paper as she read off four outrageous examples of government waste USAID was responsible for. The Babylon Bee could not make up what she unveiled.

“Here’s the reason why Elon Musk and others have been taking a look,” Leavitt said while holding up a sheet of paper. “If you look at the waste and abuse that has run through USAID over the past several years, these are some of the insane priorities this organization has been wasting money on.”

It is great that this abuse has been found out and exposed. Remember, that's OUR money, folks!

Gov. Lujan Grisham Spent Taxpayer Money On Baby Shower

It looks like New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is in how water...again!

REPUBLICAN PARTY OF NEW MEXICO CONDEMNS GOV. LUJAN GRISHAM FOR LYING ABOUT SPENDING TAXPAYER DOLLARS ON BABY SHOWER ITEMS

RECOVERED RECEIPTS SHOW GOVERNOR’S CONTINUED PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR AND CALLOUS ATTITUDE TOWARD SUFFERING NEW MEXICANS

Albuquerque, July 13—The Republican Party of New Mexico is outraged that Gov. Lujan Grisham spent public money to purchase baby shower decorations —and then lied about it.

A Breitbart News report revealed that the Governor denied the purchase in 2020 despite proof of physical receipts. In a video, Lujan Grisham said she never used taxpayer dollars for baby shower decorations, responding on camera to a voter who questioned the purchase.

“Maybe you should do your facts better" said Lujan Grisham.

Here's the video:

See the receipts below.

This pattern of behavior by Lujan Grisham is shameful. She cannot be trusted, and she cannot come clean with the citizens of New Mexico.

The above incident is nothing new.

The Governor continued her selfish, self-serving ways during the pandemic, while New Mexicans lost jobs, their businesses and suffered at the hands of her authoritarian rule and illogical orders. During this time, she spent thousands of taxpayer dollars on steaks, alcohol, lavish meals, dry cleaning, shoe repair and more.

Lujan Grisham had also used a taxpayer-funded state account to throw a big bash for the Democratic Governors Association in Santa Fe. Then she quietly reimbursed the funds months later, calling the mansion shindig a “campaign event.”

This is a governor who also tried to bypass the legislature to spend dollars—the constitutional role of state lawmakers.

“Gov. Lujan Grisham has repeatedly thumbed her nose at New Mexicans and the governmental system for years,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “She has no qualms about her constant immoral and unethical behavior, whether it’s duping her constituents, taking public money for personal use or stripping New Mexicans of their rights and freedoms. Lujan Grisham cannot be trusted, and she cannot serve another term as governor.”

6 Governors Take "Climate Change" Junket and Stick Taxpayers With The Bill

Six governors took a "little" junket to Glasgow, Scotland for a United Nations climate change conference last November. One of the six was New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.

According to The Center Square:

(The Center Square) – Gov. Jay Inslee brought his wife to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, sticking Washington taxpayers with the bill, which included more than $12,510.08 for business class airfare for the couple, something no other governor did at taxpayer expense.

Inslee led a delegation of subnational governments to the conference. The total travel tab for Washington taxpayers cost $25,955.32, more than any other U.S. state examined by The Center Square. The higher cost was due in part to the governor's decision to fly with his wife in business class while other governors who attended at taxpayer expense flew in less expensive seats.

Inslee was one of six state governors who attended the conference. All six are part of the U.S. Climate Alliance, a group created in response to former President Donald Trump's climate policies. The other state leaders were New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, Hawaii Gov. David Ige, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Oregon Gov. Kate Brown.

In total, state documents obtained by The Center Square through open records requests show taxpayers in these six states spent more than $90,000 – not including most security costs – to send governors and other state employees to the conference in Glasgow in November 2021, during a time of pandemic restrictions, Zoom meetings and rising inflation.

The records detail what state leaders in Washington, New Mexico, Hawaii, Louisiana, Illinois, and Oregon did during the conference and how much it cost state taxpayers. Oregon was the only state that included the costs of providing security. The records from all other states examined didn't include security costs. Those costs likely added at least thousands of dollars for taxpayers in each state.

Some governors wined and dined pretty "high on the hog" more so than others. What is interesting is that most of the expenses incurred by Lujan Grisham were either unavailable, hidden or her office is not responding to queries. Could her re-election campaign have something to do with that?

The Center Square also reported:

The bill for New Mexico taxpayers was $0, according to spending records from the governor's office. New Mexico officials didn't respond to questions about how the trip was funded, but the Associated Press reported the Climate Registry and the Energy Foundation paid for trip expenses. The Center Square has requested, but not yet received, spending records from the New Mexico State Police, which provided security to the governor during the trip.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's schedule for the trip included sightseeing, such as a visit to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood House and Arthur's Seat and a bus tour of the Scottish Highlands and Loch Ness.

In addition to food, travel and lodging, all six states paid hundreds of dollars for COVID-19 testing required for travel and for the conference.

According to the article, The Climate Registry is "a Los Angeles-based nonprofit group "that empowers North American organizations to do more in the fight against climate change by providing services and tools that help them reduce their emissions." If they paid most of Lujan Grisham's expenses, this would have to be reported as a campaign contribution or an in-kind contribution with the New Mexico Secretary of State's office. Was it? Frankly, I wouldn't put much trust in what the governor's office provided on her junket spending.

One prominent climate activist was not impressed with this gathering of liberal Democrat politicians.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg, 19, called the climate summit a failure.

“It is not a secret that COP26 is a failure. It should be obvious that we cannot solve the crisis with the same methods that got us into it in the first place,” she said during a speech about two miles away from the conference center. “The COP has turned into a PR event, where leaders are giving beautiful speeches and announcing fancy commitments and targets, while behind the curtains governments of the Global North countries are still refusing to take any drastic climate action.”

A good look at Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's expenses, including official and campaign records, is called for to see what she actually spent for this junket and if she complied with all reporting laws along with expenses incurred by the New Mexico State Police.

Gov. Lujan Grisham's Lavish Dinner Party

Above, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.

People who find their wives, girlfriends or "significant others" are lying to them, the best course of action is to give them the boot, for they belong to the streets. The same goes for lying politicians, male or female, and those who live lavishly at taxpayers' expense while people are suffering the pandemic. In either case, you can never trust them again.

Well, Gov. "Malevolent Michelle" Lujan Grisham has been caught living "high on the hog" at the taxpayers' expense. Piñon Post has the full story.

It begins with:

While New Mexicans suffered one of the nation’s highest unemployment rates, record-high inflation, and soaring gas prices Michelle Lujan Grisham traveled to Scotland for a “climate change” summit called “COP26,” which focused on funding climate change extremism through cooperation between global stakeholders.

At the Scotland event, scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced radical job-killing proposals she aims to ram through the 2022 Legislative Session that will not only cripple New Mexico’s energy economy but will harm the poor in significant ways. Many of her cabinet secretaries and staff joined her.

At the time, the Governor’s spokeswoman Nora Sackett bragged about how the taxpayers would not be funding the trip, claiming a climate change dark money group would be footing the bill instead.

However, once Lujan Grisham arrived back in New Mexico, Inspection of Public Records Act requests revealed that in early November, right after she got back from the vacation-style “climate” excursion, the taxpayers footed the bill for a swanky seven-person dinner party at the Governor’s Mansion.

According to the documents obtained in the IPRA, the taxpayers paid Abobo Catering $1,057.27 for the party, totaling over $150 for each person’s expensive meal.

She belongs on the streets. Voters can send her there next November!

Michelle Lujan Grisham: High On The Hog At Taxpayer Expense

Since the pandemic started, Democrat politicians have been imposing "Rules for thee, but not for me" on their subjects.

New Mexico's Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has come under fire before for breaking her own rules and she is taking heat again for spending on food and booze with taxpayers' money, when those costs should be coming out of her own pocket.

Fox News reported:

New Mexico’s Democrat governor is on the defensive after a report this week detailed her office’s spending from a taxpayer-supported expense fund.

Records show Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham spent nearly $13,500 over a six-month period in 2020 on items such as groceries, dry cleaning and alcohol, the Sante Fe New Mexican reported.

The booze spending included a purchase in September of more than $200 for five bottles of tequila, two bottles of vodka, two bottles of Merlot and single bottles of whiskey and gin, the report said.

In the same report, the newspaper disclosed that Grisham was hosting in-person staff meetings at the governor’s mansion at the same time that she was urging the public against mixing households in order to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

About half the $13,500 went toward food for the governor’s Cabinet members and staffers during those meetings, Grisham spokesman Tripp Stelnicki told The Associated Press.

State Republicans were outraged by the governor’s use of taxpayer cash.

It must be nice to live "high on the hog" at taxpayers' expense while imposing strict restrictions on everybody else.
