"Operation Epic Fury"
Iran refused to dismantle its nuclear program, despite warnings from President Trump that their refusal would lead to consequences.
Well, it has started. The U.S. and Israel have launched air strikes against Iran.
From the New York Post:
The US and Israel launched airstrikes against Iran Saturday morning in response to the regime’s refusal to dismantle its nuclear program after weeks of negotiations — targeting military infrastructure and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s compound in Tehran.
The attacks — which the Department of War called “Operation Epic Fury” — follow a massive US military buildup in the Middle East and come after President Trump repeatedly warned Tehran that it would face consequences if it didn’t make a deal with the US.
Iran then launched missiles towards Israel in a retaliatory attack as officials claimed the response would be “crushing.”
“Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime,” Trump said in an eight-minute video address on Saturday.

U.S. military campgrounds can be an awesome option for those who qualify. In the video below, Steve Turtle explains what these campgrounds are, who can use them, and how to find them. Military campgrounds (MWRs: Morale, Welfare and Recreation) are secure and close to all the post’s amenities.

These Are the Most Mass-Produced Military Rifles in History
Before starting off with the topic, the most mass-produced military rifles in history, let's take a look at the 15th Century.
According to Wikipedia:
The 15th century was the century which spans the Julian calendar dates from 1 January 1401 to 31 December 1500. In Europe, the 15th century includes parts of the Late Middle Ages, the Early Renaissance, and the early modern period.
The reason why I posted about the 15th Century, military rifles began to be produced during that century according to an AOL article.
It begins with:
Rifles are the backbone of any military. Infantry carries them, taking objectives and seizing goals. They’ve been the crux of the modern army since their introduction to the battlefield in the 15th century. Today, we’re looking at the most mass-produced military rifles in history.
The article then spotlights the most mass-produced military rifles in history. The list includes the Winchester 94, which did see military service.

Military Vehicles The Public Can Buy
![]() |
| Above, the Willys Jeep M38A1 I bought six years ago. Photo by Armand Vaquer. |
It would be a real eye-opener to drive down a residential street and seeing a Sherman tank parked in someone's driveway.
But, unusual it may be, according to a website on military vehicles the public can buy, Sherman tanks can be bought. Beware! They are pricey!
CarBuzz posted a list of military vehicles the public can buy. Included in the list (number 5) are Willys M38A1 Jeeps. I bought a Willys Jeep M38A1 six years ago and have had lots of fun with it.
Their posting starts with:
Here at CarBuzz we usually like to talk about, well, cars, but we also know that sometimes your choice of vehicle may go slightly off the beaten track (literally and figuratively). And by that we don't mean the kind of off-road prowess provided by a Jeep Wrangler, or a Hummer EV SUV that can crab-walk itself across rough terrain.
Several vehicles formerly employed for military use, from snowmobiles to off-roaders and even tanks, are available on the market to be purchased by civilians, and could make a great addition to the garage of a history enthusiast. Some, like the Humvee and the original Willys Jeep, had civilian counterparts that became icons over the course of automotive history. In this list we have selected ten military vehicles available for purchase by the public, in case you want to park something on your drive that’s a bit more unusual than a Toyota Corolla.

The Truth of John Wayne's WWII Military Exemption
| Above, John Wayne with the troops in Viet Nam. |
There have been many detractors questioning John Wayne's exemption from military service during World War II.
The official John Wayne Facebook page has posted the following to set the record straight:
Though many questioned John Wayne’s exemption from military service during World War II, the decision was not entirely his fault. Duke was classified as 3-A (family deferment) due to his age (34) and family status at the time of Pearl Harbor. Despite this, he repeatedly wrote to John Ford, asking to be placed in Ford's military unit, but Ford continually postponed it until after one more film.
Wayne did not try to prevent his reclassification to 1-A (draft eligible), but Republic Pictures, where he was under contract, fought hard to keep him. President Herbert J. Yates even threatened Duke with a lawsuit if he left, and Republic intervened with the Selective Service to request his deferment.
During the war, John Wayne dedicated his time to supporting the troops, serving Thanksgiving dinners at the Hollywood Canteen, touring with the USO in the South Pacific, and portraying the American soldier with dignity and courage. After Christmas 1942, he began a three-month USO tour across Australia, New Britain, and New Guinea.
Decades later, Duke continued to visit troops on the frontlines, including in Vietnam, where he spent time with soldiers in the trenches. It was a way for him to engage with everyday soldiers on a personal level, offering morale and support during an active conflict.

Trump To Remove Transgender Servicemembers From Military
The incoming Trump Administration will be doing a massive clean-up of the military from day one.
This includes removing transgender military service members. Finally, the freakshow will be coming to an end.
According to the Gateway Pundit:
President Trump will remove transgender servicemembers from the military by executive order on day one of his presidency.
“The ban is expected to be wider ranging than a similar order made during his first term in office, when Trump prevented transgender people joining the armed forces, but allowed those already serving to keep their jobs. President Biden rescinded the order, but this time even those with decades of service will be removed from their posts, according to several sources,” The Times reported.
Joe Biden and the Marxist left turned the US military into a woke social experiment as China promotes masculinity to their young males.

Tanks On A Train
Last night, I was walking out of Albertson's market in Gallup and saw a train passing by (about 200-300 yards away) with flatbed cars with tanks. There were two tanks per car and there were a lot of them. It was heading east.
I took some photos, but the train was moving too fast for a clear picture.
This was the best of the bunch:

Can You RV Camp At A Military Campground?
For those of you who are active or retired military, there are some military bases that have RV campgrounds available.
I have stayed at one once. It was the Desert Eagle RV Park of Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas as a friend with me is retired military. It was a nice campground.

RV Travel has an article asking if one can stay at a military RV park if they aren't a vet or active military.
They begin it with:
Are you or a member of your family on active military duty? Are you retired or disabled? If you are, did you know you’re eligible to camp on military campgrounds?
If you’ve never heard of the program, it’s called the MWR branch. And all branches of service have one. It stands for the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) branch.
If you aren’t a vet, are you eligible to camp at military campgrounds?
As a general rule, if you’ve never been in the military, you can’t camp at military campgrounds. However, some military campgrounds will allow civilians with no military connections to camp. So if you are a civilian, call the campground. Ask them if they’ll allow you to stay with them.

Biden: Spend Billions On "Climate Friendly" Military Vehicles
It is all well and good that people celebrate Earth Day. But the following is so ludicrous that it is almost mind-boggling.
Well, considering that this came from the very feeble mind of His Fraudulency Joe Biden or his idiotic administration shadow handlers, it shouldn't come as no surprise.
The Federalist blog posted:
(National File) In honor of Earth Day, Biden vowed to spend “billions” on “climate friendly” military vehicles in a statement to a group of Democrats.
“In the United States military, every vehicle is going to be climate friendly, every vehicle,” Biden said to a round of applause. “No I mean it, we’re gonna spend billions of dollars to do it,” the president continued.
The president did not offer specifics on his “climate friendly” military vehicle plan, only that he would spend “billions.”
Okay, so we spend billions on "green" military vehicles so that they're "climate friendly", but the purpose of military vehicles are to kill the enemy and blow the crap out of their war equipment and installations. How is having "climate friendly" military vehicles going to help when pollutants from missiles and explosives from those vehicles are polluting the air and soil? Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose?
But, we have to keep reminding ourselves that idiots are running the government. Oy vey!

UFO Encounters Left HUNDREDS of Servicemen With Brain Damage
| Above, a display at the Roswell International UFO Museum. Photo by Armand Vaquer. |
Now that the government is a little more forthcoming on the subject of UFOs, more information is coming out about incidents over the past 70s years. The following involves servicemen who suffered brain damage and death after UFO encounters.
This is from an ex-CIA officer.
According to My Patriot Post:
An ex-CIA officer and top forensic neuroimaging scientist has claimed that during his time working with the CIA, hundreds of servicemen suffered brain damage and some even died after encounters with UFOs.
Detroit Professor Christopher Green worked with the CIA since the 1960s and in 2010 he was commissioned to conduct research and to produce a report paper on behalf of a $22 million top secret defense program set up to monitor UFOs.
Green was assigned to study and record incidents which resulted in individual’s suffering injuries after close encounters with unidentified crafts.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Green stated that “hundreds of patients” had sustained serious brain injuries and conditions after encountering mysterious unidentified crafts, and around one in ten died within seven years.

RV Life: 10 Best U.S. Military Campgrounds and RV Parks
![]() |
| Above, The Beast at Desert Eagle RV Park in Nellis Air Force Base. Photo by Armand Vaquer. |
Three years ago, following the procedure to install two stents in one of my coronary arteries in Twin Falls, Idaho, Mitch Geriminsky and I stayed one night at the Desert Eagle RV Park in Nellis Air Force Base outside of Las Vegas while en route to Lake Havasu, Arizona. It is a very nice RV park.
It was a nice RV park and is one of many RV parks and campgrounds open to active and retired servicemen and women. Mitch is a retired Air Force serviceman, so that's how we were able to stay there.
RV Life has posted a list of the 10 best military campgrounds and RV Parks and Desert Eagle is one of them (number 7 on the list).
They begin with:
One of the perks of being active duty or retired military (and in some cases, a current or former Department of Defense employee) is getting to stay at US military campgrounds and RV parks.
There are dozens of such parks across the country; I have showcased ten of the most highly-rated parks below. A quick search of Campground Reviews will help you find the perfect location for you. To make the search even easier, you can filter the results to show just the military-only options.

"Tired of Lies"
The latest is the alleged statement by President Trump calling our military personnel "losers" and "suckers".
Both the President and Melania Trump said the alleged statement is untrue. Ambassador John Bolton, no friend of the President, denied ever hearing such a thing from Trump.

Military Headed To California; Invasion?
![]() |
| Above, rail cars with military vehicles. |
During my drives to and from the clamp-out last weekend in Arizona, I noticed many trucks hauling flatbed trailers with military vehicles, primarily Humvees, going westbound. I also noticed westbound trains with rail cars carrying ammunition, Humvees, tanks and other military vehicles. It seemed like an unusual high amount of military vehicles.
Perhaps they were en route to California?
Maybe President Trump is about to declare martial law in Commiefornia and overthrow the leftist state government due to the mess the Democrats have put the state into.
We should be so lucky!

Willys Jeep Mystery Solved
| Above, the passenger side of the Willys Jeep M38A1. Photo by Armand Vaquer. |
On the passenger side between the fender and door below the windshield of my 1952 Willys Jeep M38A1 is what looks like a place for a gasoline cap opening or something.
Victor, the seller, didn't really know what it was for. Obviously, neither did I.
I found out this morning what it's for through a Jeep enthusiast Facebook page.
Here's what was said about it:
That is the spot where the slave cable connection was (basically military jumper cables). Not a CJ5 if it has that, it is an M38A1.
Apparently, this is only found on M38A1 Willys Jeeps. It makes sense as the battery compartment (the opening is between the windshield and hood) is above it.
You learn something new everyday!

Liberals Having Fits Over Military Presence At Washington Independence Day Celebration
![]() |
| Above, military hardware in JFK's 1961 Inaugural Parade. |
The liberal media and crybaby Democrats are having fits over President Trump's plan to have a military presence at tomorrow's Independence Day celebration.
The babies are screaming that the President is "politicizing the military."
From CNN:
(CNN) - Donald Trump's attempt to make July Fourth great again is turning into an eloquent metaphor for the excesses and polarization of his presidency.
His choreography for tanks on the National Mall, war plane flyovers, his own televised address and a longer than normal red, white and blue fireworks display means that even Independence Day -- for generations a rare unifying moment -- will be politicized.
Instead of the "Salute to America" that he has proclaimed, Trump's critics fear he's really plotting a salute to himself.
His latest grandiose photo op appears to be a reflection of his own vanity, obsession with crowd sizes, craving for the spotlight, penchant for military hardware and his flirtations with authoritarianism.
But from the President's perspective, he's on to a winner. Cries of outrage from Democrats and the media at Trump's hijacking of the July Fourth celebrations will not offend all Americans. For a lot of them, it may be a welcome display of the country's strength.
"Flirtations with authoritarianism"?! Jeez, you can't make this stuff up.
The military has always been involved in different patriotic celebrations, including inaugural parades.
These people are lunatics!
