Notice of Entry of Judgment Received

Above, Scott at Waikoloa. Did she really think she was going to get away by paying only $600? Photo by Armand Vaquer.

A welcome piece of mail arrived today.

It is the Notice of Entry of Judgment on the Small Claims Court judgment in my lawsuit against Jacquese Scott for the costs I fronted for her back in February for the Hawaii trip in May.

It states:
Court orders judgment entered Plaintiff Armand Vaquer against Defendant Jacquese Antoinette Scott on the Plaintiff's Claim filed by Armand Vaquer on 06/30/2016 for the principal amount of $808.25 and costs of $70.00 for a total of $878.25.
The enforcement of the judgment is "automatically postponed for 30 days or, if an appeal is filed, until the appeal is decided."

While it is unfortunate that things had to come to this, but she owed the money and knew she owed it, but chose to lie in court. The court saw through those lies and gave the appropriate verdict. Now she also has to pay an additional $70.00 for the court costs I incurred.

As Scott essentially "asked for it" (and got it), I am also reminded that in Hawaii she further poisoned things between my ex and I while we were there and that made the trip not as enjoyable as it could and should have been. So, this is also a little "payback" for that.

While we were exchanging evidence in the hallway at court, she expressed her displeasure over my blog posts about this matter. Well, if you are going to try to screw someone, you shouldn't expect that person is going to take that lying down.

Karma does work!
