Getting a Big Mac in Japan may get a little more difficult as McDonald's Holdings Japan is about to close 131 restaurants due to record losses.
According to News on Japan:
Sarah Casanova, President and CEO of McDonald's Holdings Japan, told reporters on Thursday the company will post a net loss of more than 300 million dollars this year. That's a record loss for the firm and will be the second straight year in the red.Additionally, 100 full-time employees will be asked to take early retirement.
