Saturday, I Think

There's one thing about retirement, retirees have to check their calendars to know what day it is as they are all the same, except for Sundays. That's only because many businesses and the post offices are closed.

So, today is a typical Saturday of relaxing and listening to music or watching movies. I am debating on whether to go into Gallup this afternoon to check out the new Clint Eastwood movie, The Mule. Doing so tomorrow is pretty much out of the question as we're supposed to get snow showers.

For tomorrow, the National Weather Service says there's a chance of precipitation at 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Today is a typical Saturday for me these days.

It started off with watering the trees and plants in the yard. I received a compliment from one of the neighbors yesterday on how good the trees are looking.

Then, I trashed more of the thrashed moving boxes. I figure I have about 2-3 more weeks of trash pick-ups to go before I get rid of the last of them.

I did manage to find a few things I was looking for. One clothes brush, one cat brush, batteries and other odds & ends.

The weather was just right for doing stuff in the garage, about 72­°.
