Shooting of GOP Whip Was Predictable

Above, James T. Hodgkinson, the shooter.

"The shooting; it's not guns that are responsible, it's the avalanche of hate that Democrats have poured on Republicans since Trump won." - David Horowitz on Twitter.

A deranged Bernie Sanders supporter and follower of leftist politics ambushed congressional Republicans who where practicing for a charity baseball game with a rifle. It has been reported that the shooter was a big fan of Rachel Maddow.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was seriously wounded in the attack. It has been reported that he should make a full recovery.

According to The Week:
Shortly after the shooting Wednesday morning at a congressional baseball practice, Rep. Mark Walker (R-N.C.) told NBC News that it appeared the "gunman was there to kill as many Republican members as possible." Walker, who was at the practice for the upcoming annual congressional baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia, confirmed he was "shaken but okay."
This incident was predictable, as Rush Limbaugh stated yesterday. Deranged Democrat supporters have been ratcheting up hate rhetoric during the past six months and expecting President Trump and others to be jailed (or worse, given the assassination-themed plays and comments). Leftist commentators such as Rachel Maddow and others have been spurring this hatred on. Finally, a follower decided to take action today and did.

The gunman asked if the players were Republicans before he opened fire. The shooter, identified as 66-year-old James T. Hodgkinson, died from his injuries from the Capitol Hill Police.
