Anime News Network's Zac Bertschy and Hope Chapman present the last part of their Japan "Nerd Tour" of otaku and Japanese cultural places of interest.
This time, they are in Kyoto.
The start their pictorial article with a visit to the Fushimi Inari Shrine. They also visit Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-ji "Golden Pavilion," Kiyomizu-dera and the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum where displays of Tezuka's creations, including Astro Boy (Mighty Atom) and Kimba, the white lion, are featured.
