World Atlas has posted an article on 7 "slow-paced" towns to visit in New Mexico.

Of the seven, I've been to two of them: Gallup, because I live near it and Mesilla, which is next to Las Cruces (I went to the Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo in 2021 in Las Cruces). I think the restaurant I ate at one night was in Mesilla.
