It was a good thing that I got the Jeep to the mechanic's yesterday morning. In the afternoon after 3:00, we received some more monsoon rains in the Jamestown area.
I'm not complaining, it had been a dry monsoon season for the most part. But that changed a bit over the past two weeks.
According to the National Weather Service, more thunderstorms are expected during the next few days.

A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between noon and 3pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. West wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
