Yesterday, I got the last tire the Jeep needed. So now it has new tires all around.
I had to wait to get to Gallup as Historic Route 66 was flooded near Church Rock. I found that it was reopened yesterday and headed into town.
The tire shop had to replace a lug bolt that they broke when I was there for two tires.
Now I can take some drives into Six Mile Canyon again, at least until mid-December when it is closed to vehicles.
On the way home, I stopped at the gateway to the former Fort Wingate Army Depot for a few pictures. One of them is below.
