2 States, 2 Gas Stations, 2 Miles Apart

This is making the rounds on Facebook:

This was posted today on the 2 Million Californians to Recall Gavin Newsom page. Trisha Comstock was the lady who actually made a video showing her mileage between the 2 gas stations.A screenshot photo is a way I can share it with you.

2 DIFFERENT GAS STATIONS.

2 MILES APART.

One is in NEEDLES, CA.

One is in MOHAVE VALLEY, AZ.

Kelsey's Army Safety Tips

I don't know how many young women come to this blog or how many are parents of teenage or young adult women, but here are some safety tips from Kelsey's Army:

1. Trust your instincts - If something feels wrong then something probably is wrong.

2. Know your surroundings - know who and what is around you.

3. Always have a plan for where you would go and what you would do if a situation arises.

4. Be willing to make a scene in order to be noticed.

5. Let someone know where you are going and when you will be back.

Remember the acronym TIPS:

Take Charge
Inform others of your whereabouts
Prepare for any situation
Survival Mentality (role play situations so you will respond should they happen)
