There is one ballot advisory measure that caught my attention over the past few months. That is the advisory measure in Idaho on what the voters want for their official state gun.
The voters picked their choice yesterday. Winchesters were the top two according to vote totals (so far).
According to the Idaho Statesman:
The [Winchester] Model 1873 had received 31.2% of the vote as of 1:10 a.m. Wednesday. The Winchester Model 1894 was next with 25.4%. The vote, which was on a nonbinding advisory question, pit six firearms against each other for the possible honorific. The state Legislature would have to take action to make the designation official.
