Google A.I. Picked Up Deb Haaland Label

A couple of days ago, I came up with the nickname, "Princess Running Chicken", for New Mexico gubernatorial candidate Deb Haaland. This was due to her refusal to debate her Republican opponent, former Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull.

This is a pattern that started during the primary campaign. Either she is scared to debate (she's not the brightest bulb on the marquee and is inarticulate), feels entitled to the office or is taking part in a Democrat strategy of candidates refusing debates (New Mexico U.S. Senator Ben Ray Lujan is also refusing to debate his GOP opponent) or all combined.

Yesterday, for the fun of it, I Googled Princess Running Chicken and found that Google's A.I. Overview feature picked it up.

Here it is:

Others have come up with nicknames. One of them is "Ducking Deb".

It seems that her refusal to debate is backfiring on Haaland. People have posted that they have changed their vote to Hull due to her refusal, citing, "No debate, no vote!"

This campaign is getting more interesting by the day.

The Idaho State Gun

Above, the Winchester 94 is one of the guns on the Idaho ballot. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

This has to be one of the most crucial midterm elections in our nation's history. The voters will decide on the various candidates and state measures.

But, the election is shaping up to be a fun one, particularly in the state of Idaho. Voters there will vote on an advisory measure on what should be named as the official state gun.

The Gem State Chronicle wrote:

Idahoans will have a lot of choices on our ballots this year, from federal, statewide, and legislative candidates to county and local races, as well as questions involving abortion, drug policy, and whether English should be our official state language. But there is one question that is less consequential and more fun: choosing Idaho’s official state gun.

Placed on the ballot by House Bill 932, which passed both chambers of the Legislature unanimously earlier this year, the question also has an obvious political benefit for Republicans in a midterm election that could see depressed turnout. On the one hand, it can be seen as a cynical political play; on the other, it’s harmless fun, so why not?

Your six options are:

  • Winchester Model 1894 rifle, chambered in .30-30 Winchester
  • Winchester Model 1873 rifle, chambered in .44-40 Winchester
  • Colt Single Action Army revolver, chambered in .45 Colt
  • M1 Garand rifle, chambered in .30-06 Springfield
  • Colt M1911 pistol, chambered in .45 ACP
  • Remington Model 700 rifle, chambered in .30-06 Springfield

Deb Haaland: Princess Running Chicken

We have a new nickname for Democrat Deb Haaland: Princess Running Chicken.

It is because she is afraid to engage GOP candidate Gregg Hull or feels entitled.

Deb Haaland: NO To Any Debates

Democrat Deb "Running Chicken" Haaland feels she's so entitled to become the next New Mexico governor she doesn't feel the need to earning it in a debate.

KOB 4 posted this on Facebook last evening:

Deb Haaland’s campaign said she will not take part in KOB 4’s Oct. 8 governor’s debate or any other debates in the race.

They then posted a link to their full article on Haaland's refusal to debate GOP candidate Gregg Hull.

The article begins with:

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Deb Haaland’s campaign said she will not take part in KOB 4’s Oct. 8 governor’s debate or any other debates in the race.

Hours after KOB 4 updated viewers on the planned debate, Haaland’s campaign sent an email saying Gregg Hull was not serious about an “anytime, anywhere” debate.

“We will no longer be able to hold these dates and would like to move past this sideshow,” Haaland’s campaign manager said in an email.

The campaign manager said Haaland will continue traveling the state to meet voters instead.

Hull responded by saying he adjusted his schedule for the KOB 4 debate and that Haaland should do the same.

“She (Haaland) rejected all of your debate proposals leading up to this circus of her campaign’s own making because she is afraid to face the cameras and defend her record,” Hull said.

KOB 4 has worked since June 3 to set an hourlong live debate between Hull and Haaland after the June 2 primary election.

Idaho Voters To Choose State Gun In Election

Above, the Winchester 94 is one of six guns on the Idaho ballot. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

I've posted about this before, but as the November 3 election looms, Idaho voters have an interesting ballot question to vote on.

It is a question on what gun should be designated as the official state gun. Currently, 10 states have official state guns.

According to MyNorthwest:

Idaho voters will choose an official state gun this November after Gov. Brad Little signed legislation placing a nonbinding advisory question on the general election ballot.

House Bill 932, which passed the House 68-0 and cleared the Senate before Little signed it into law on April 2, asks voters to select one of six firearms to be designated as Idaho’s official state gun. The results will guide future legislative action but do not carry the force of law on their own.

The ballot question will read: “Which of the following guns should be designated as the state gun of Idaho?”

The six choices are:

  • Winchester Model 1894 (.30-30)
  • Winchester Model 1873 “Gun that Won the West” (.44-40)
  • 1873 Colt Single Action Army Revolver “Peacemaker” (.45 Colt)
  • M1 Garand rifle (.30-06)
  • Colt M1911 .45 automatic Colt pistol (.45 ACP)
  • Remington Model 700 bolt-action rifle (.30-06)

Rep. Melanie Stansbury: Witch Hunts Will Return If Democrats Control Congress

Democrats plan on returning to having witch hunts against President Trump and administration officials if they gain control of congress following the November 3 election.

Rep. Melanie Stansbury let these plans slip to supporters.

The Pinon Post reported:

Democrat U.S. Rep. Melanie Stansbury of New Mexico is openly telling supporters that House Democrats are already preparing for “in-depth oversight and impeachments of administration officials” next year if voters hand the party control of the U.S. House in November.

The comments came in a video circulating on X this week, in which Stansbury tied Democrats’ ability to pursue the plans directly to the outcome of the Nov. 3 midterm elections.

“We in the House are gearing up in terms of our planning for oversight,” Stansbury said in the video. “I know many of you are deeply frustrated that this administration is not being held accountable under the law.”

She continued: “We are gearing up for next year and the President is damn right that we are going to be conducting in-depth oversight and impeachments of administration officials next year. So we are in the process of planning for all that.”

Stansbury did not identify in the clip which Trump administration officials Democrats are considering for impeachment, nor did she specify potential articles or alleged impeachable conduct.

What she did make explicit was that the plans depend on Democrats winning control of the chamber.

Haaland Ducking KRQE's Debate

Haaland the chicken-hearted: She's ducking this debate after not agreeing to KOB's October 8 debate after allegedly initially agreeing to it.

Apparently, she's using Joe Biden's 2020 strategy of hiding in her basement and not defending her record and her proposals.

Candidates should earn their election, not entitled. Her entitlement is off the charts.

Gregg Hull For New Mexico Governor

Above, Gregg Hull. Official campaign photo.

If you thought that Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was bad, you ain't seen nothing yet if Deb Haaland is elected governor of New Mexico.

To put it bluntly, she's an inarticulate buffoon. That's putting it nicely!

That's why I am supporting Gregg Hull for New Mexico governor.

From the Hull campaign website:

Gregg Hull is the proven leader Rio Rancho counts on. A longtime resident, entrepreneur, and family man, Hull has taken on the big challenges to improve public safety, grow the economy, invest in infrastructure and increase the quality of life for Rio Rancho Residents.

Gregg wants the same success story for New Mexico, and he is ready to work together with all New Mexicans to write our next chapter. Combined with David Gallegos’ extensive legislative experience and deep understanding of New Mexico's regulatory landscape, this ticket offers a stable, results-oriented alternative for our state's future.

What Happened To The DOGE Payments?

President Trump announced a $5,000 dividend payment to every American adult should the GOP win the midterm election this November and retain control of the House and Senate.

This immediately brought to mind, to me and many others: What happened to the proposed $2,000 DOGE tariff payments?

I did a little checking and this is what Google's AI gizmo came up with:

What Happened to the Proposal

Never Enacted: While President Trump publicly floated concepts like returning a portion of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) savings or issuing tariff rebate checks, no formal legislation authorizing these payments ever passed Congress.  (https://www.ms.now/news/news-analysis/trump-cash-payments-project-47),

Disputed Savings: The idea of a DOGE-funded payout originally relied on trillions in federal spending cuts, but independent audits and government data showed actual documented savings were a fraction of initial claims before DOGE concluded its operations.  (https://www.ms.now/news/news-analysis/trump-cash-payments-project-47)

Legal Hurdles: Proposed tariff-funded checks faced major legal setbacks when the Supreme Court struck down sweeping emergency tariffs, removing the anticipated revenue stream meant to back such rebates

President Trump: $5,000 Dividend To Every American Adult

President Trump Promises $5,000 Dividend to Every American Adult if Republicans Win Midterms video from CSPAN.

Summary:

President Trump: "Only I can make this promise to you, and here is my promise, if the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them...because of our tremendous strength and success economically I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000."

Deb Haaland on Gun Control

If one thought that Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was bad enough on your Second Amendment gun rights, New Mexico gubernatorial candidate Democrat Deb Haaland is of the same ilk, if not worse.

On The Issues posted a list of Haaland's policy positions on the Second Amendment.

They are:

  • Extend waiting periods from 3 to 10 days
  • We need 100% background checks, & close gun show loophole
  • Ban assault weapons; we need national buy-back program
  • Support gun-control, according to PVS survey.
  • Require background check for every firearm sale and transfer.
  • Haaland voted YEA Background Check Expansion Act

Deb Haaland Tied To Jeffrey Epstein

Democrat Deb Haaland had some ties to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, so much so that she flew aboard a plane chartered by Epstein.

From the Pinon Post:

New Mexico is once again in the national spotlight for all the wrong reasons after a bombshell report revealed that Democratic gubernatorial frontrunner Deb Haaland once flew on a private jet connected to disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to reporting by the New York Post, newly released emails show Haaland was among several passengers who traveled on the aircraft in 2014 while attending a meeting in Washington, D.C. At the time, Haaland was running for lieutenant governor as part of then–New Mexico Attorney General Gary King’s campaign.

Deb Haaland: Two DWI Convictions

Democrat candidate for New Mexico governor Deb Haaland did not exactly have a stellar life when it came to the law in her early years.

According to KJZZ:

A member of the Laguna Pueblo, Haaland was born in Winslow, Arizona, but describes herself as a 35th generation New Mexican. She spent her youngest years on the move as part of a military family, eventually settling in Albuquerque when she was 14.

Personal and professional difficulties followed. Within the next decade, she became a single mom living on public assistance. A drinking problem resulted in two DWI convictions.

Haaland's Out-of-State Contributions At 58%

According to campaign-finance disclosures filed with the New Mexico Secretary of State, a majority of Democrat Governor-candidate Deb Haaland’s latest campaign contributions came from outside New Mexico—roughly 58% in the most recent reporting period. Earlier reports showed the out-of-state share approaching 80%. - Ant Thornton for NM.

Steve Hilton Vows To Fire California Energy Bosses Behind Tire Regulations

Above, GOP candidate Steve Hilton.

The firestorm continues on the new Commiefornia tire regulations.

Gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton has vowed that, if elected, will eliminate the unelected California Energy Commission, starting with the "Tire Hag" herself, Nancy Skinner.

Above, the "Tire Hag" Nancy Skinner.

The New York Post reported:

Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton promised to wipe out the agency behind California’s controversial new tire rules aimed at lowering emissions — blasting what he called an bloated “bureaucracy” that is only driving up the cost of living.

“When I am in office, we are going to have affordable, reliable energy in California that is as green as we can possibly make it. That’s what’s going to happen,” Hilton said at a Sacramento press conference Thursday steps away from the California Energy Commission.

“Instead of what they’re doing now, which is fake green energy that’s gouging every California family and business.”

The rules, approved Monday by the commission, will phase out replacement tires that fail to meet the state’s new energy-efficiency standards.

According to the Tire Industry Association, average tire prices could increase from $81 to as much as $157. For a full set of four tires, the difference could exceed $300 per vehicle.

Hilton said his first step would be targeted at one individual: Energy Commissioner Nancy Skinner, who reportedly was a driving force behind the tire rules.

Skinner is listed as the agency board’s engineer/scientist member.

“We are going to fire the tyrant Nancy Skinner!” Hilton said. “Nancy Skinner is a political hack. She has no business in that seat.”

Newsom Defends Tire Replacement Rules Amid Backlash

Thank God that I moved out of that crazy communist state eight and a half years ago. I knew before moving that Gavin Newsom would be the next governor (after Jerry Brown) and his notorious leftist politics.

Sure enough, California (i.e., Commiefornia) has gone to hell in a handbasket over the past eight years.

The latest in Commiefornia's quackery is the tire replacement regulations that the unelected California Energy Department unanimously voted for.

A firestorm erupted over this and, true to his usual modus operandi, Newsom is defending the new regulations by lying through his teeth.

According to the New York Post:

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday defended California’s controversial new tire rules, insisting the sweeping environmental regulations are a win for residents — even as critics warn they could leave drivers paying more.

Speaking at a press conference in the Bay Area, the Democratic governor touted the rules approved Monday that will phase out replacement tires that fail to meet the state’s new energy-efficiency standards.

The regulations are expected to affect roughly 70% of replacement tires currently on the market, potentially forcing Californians to shell out more for compliant rubber.

Newsom, however, brushed aside the backlash and argued the changes are ultimately good for the Golden State.

Maybe it's a good thing the Democrats did this now with the November election only two and a half months away. Vote out every damn Democrat!
