A little bit ago, I returned home from a jaunt into Gallup to get a haircut and to have a Blake's Lotaburger sausage breakfast burrito.
While at the barber's, my barber expressed concern that with Deb Haaland election yesterday as governor and with the Democrats' increased members in the legislature, our Second Amendment gun rights are in jeopardy. Every time I go to barber, our conversations center on guns. He's a gun collector and he took a phone call over a planned shooting range on a friend's property while I was in his chair.
My response was to start buying ammo and guns now, before she takes office. He said he might start doing so. He mentioned a recent trip to Bullhead City, Arizona. I said he should go to Lake Havasu. The city seems to have as many gun stores as the San Fernando Valley has nail shops.
He can't understand how stupid people can be and the way they vote. He's not alone.
