Obama/Biden: Shooting Fish In A Barrel

Source: Foxnews.com

Sen. Barack Obama chose Deleware Senator Joseph Biden to be his running-mate. The talk shows expected this choice and are gleeful that Biden was chosen.

Biden has been in the U.S. Senate since 1972 and has a long track record that Republicans can dig up, including gaffes and a plagiarism incident that embarrassed the senator.

Last year, during the early Democratic debates, Biden said this about Obama:

“You were asked, ‘Is he ready?’” the moderator, ABC’s George Stephanopoulous, says to Biden. “You said, ‘I think he can be ready but right now, I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.’”

“I think that I stand by the statement,” Biden responds, with Obama standing to his right on the stage.

The McCain Campaign has already pounced on this as they have already released an ad using the above (in a video clip) and this comment Biden made on The Daily Show from 2005:

“I would be honored to run with or against John McCain, because I think the country would be better off.”

So much for Obama's change! This'll be like shooting fish in a barrel.
