Design Tokyo's "Metropolis" Magazine Issue No. 1,000 Cover!

Tokyo's Metropolis magazine is soon approaching its 1,000th issue.

They are now asking readers, "Think you've got what it takes to design the cover for Japan's No1 English magazine?"  Yes, this is a contest for someone to design the cover for issue no. 1,000.  The contest will also include an honorarium prize of ¥10,000.

Metropolis ran a story on The Monster Movie Fan's Guide To Japan a couple of years ago (above).  Even before that, I have picked up copies of the magazine at different times while visiting Tokyo.  It is an enjoyable magazine to read.
