As mentioned in a blog post two days ago, several orders of The Monster Movie Fan's Guide To Japan came in while I was busy with the plaque dedication portion of the Superman Celebration.
Well, despite major police activity in the area (with blocked-off streets, traffic snarls and police helicopters buzzing around), I managed to take the stack of travel guides over to the post office for mailing. So, as of now, all orders have been filled and they are on their way to their futures homes. Thanks, all!
The orders came at just the right time as they more than made up for the money I spent on goodies at the Superman Celebration. Not that I was complaining, mind you.
On something unrelated, Rocket News 24 posted an amusing article about Batman being spotted on Japanese expressways in Chiba Prefecture aboard a street-legal trike. To read it, go here.
UPDATE: The major police activity was due to a police chase with a black SUV. They caught the idiot.
