Things are looking better in the Tokyo foreign exchange between the Japanese yen and the U.S. dollar. This is good news for U.S. travelers to Japan.

Tokyo, Dec. 9 (Jiji Press)--The dollar rose to levels around 114.50 yen in Tokyo trading on Friday, inspired by hefty gains on the Tokyo stock market, where the key Nikkei average briefly topped the 19,000 mark for the first time this year.
