We all know that Godzilla gets his kicks out of flattening Tokyo and other Japanese cities, but now he is the protector of crops in Fukuoka Prefecture. And, he's made of straw.
According to the Asahi Shimbun:
CHIKUZEN, Fukuoka Prefecture--A new-look Godzilla has popped up here, but its objective is to protect crops and not destroy buildings and cities.
Measuring 10 meters long and 7 meters tall, the mighty scarecrow was created in the image of the Godzilla that appears in “Shin Godzilla,” which has been packing out theaters this year.
