A Day In Deadwood

Today was spent in downtown historic Deadwood, South Dakota.

It seemed more rustic 34 years ago when I was last there. Now it seems more yuppie. Still, it was fun.

Upon arrival, we had lunch at Mustang Sally's, a sports bar, casino and restaurant that served up great burgers.

After lunch, we wandered around the shops along Main Street. We visited the Historic Wild Bill Bar, which was originally Nuttall and Mann's Saloon No. 10 when Wild Bill Hickok was murdered there on August 2, 1876 while playing poker. Hickok is buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Deadwood.
