If one visits Deadwood, South Dakota in a recreational vehicle but don't either have a separate vehicle or just don't want to unhook a motorhome, you're in luck.
The city has a trolley service (they charge $2 per ride) that will take visitors to several points around the city.
One stop for the trolley is the Deadwood KOA Kampground. We made use of the trolley to go downtown and go to dinner at a hotel in town. The trolley stops there every half hour generally.
RV parking in town is sparse, so the trolley is a Godsend!
