Weekend In Wildomar

This weekend was spent at my cousin Maria's home in Wildomar where she held her annual Fourth of July party.

I headed down in The Beast Saturday morning. As usual, I stayed overnight in the RV and drove home the next day.

There was lots of food, drink and conversation with family and friends. A good time was had by all.

On the way, I stopped in Norco for breakfast and to wash The Beast's roof. While stitting at the off-ramp, I saw a pro-Trump banner. It appears that the business that put it up is a bar.

Above, in case you can't read the lower portion, it says"Get over it
Hollywood & Liberals. Flights are still leaving America. Take one."

Washed The Beast

Above, The Beast at the car wash. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

It is amazing how dirty vehicles get just sitting for a little over a month in a parking spot.

That was the case with The Beast as I just got back from taking it to get fuel and a wash. I hadn't driven it since getting back last month from the car wash after the Billy Holcomb Chapter's clampout in the Barstow area.

Although it is nice that there's shade trees where The Beast is parked, they also drip sap, leaves and bird crap.

I will be taking it to my cousin's early next month and will stop at a truck wash in Norco to wash the roof. RV roofs should be cleaned at least twice a year.

The Beast dried quickly as the temperatures in the San Fernando Valley have been going up. It is already in the 80s.

Norco Car & Truck Wash

Above, The Beast at the Norco Car & Truck Wash. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Yesterday, my cousin Maria and her husband Fred held their annual Fourth of July party at their home in Wildomar, California (near Lake Elsinore).

I decided to go in The Beast and stay over Saturday night.

While en route to Wildomar, I stopped in Norco to see if I could find a coin-operated car wash to wash The Beast. Lucky for me, I exited where there's a coin-operated car wash, the Norco Car & Truck Wash, that has two stalls for big rigs and RVs. It also has platforms on both sides so that roofs and other higher places of vehicles can get washed.

I had washed the roof of The Beast earlier this year, but it is recommended that it be done at least twice a year. Where the motorhome is parked at home, sap and leaves continually drop from the trees behind it. So it had an accumulation of dirt and sap on the fiberglass roof.

The rub was $15.00 for 15 minutes, plenty of time to wash, wax and rinse The Beast!

So, after waiting for another RVer to finish, I cleaned The Beast from top to bottom. It really came out nice and clean, including the roof!

I'll stop there again when I have The Beast with me in the area.
