Finally, a full day off. It was a busy day, but a fun one, running around with Jessica. We finished it off with sushi and sashimi at Sushi Go 55 at the Little Tokyo Galleria and Marketplace in downtown Los Angeles (333 S. Alameda Street, #317).
I was gratified to see the Little Tokyo Galleria and Marketplace to be busy. There were more shops in the the mall since the last time I visited it. Sushi Go 55 in the Galleria was happily busy tonight.
Sushi Go 55 was the winner of the 2005 Sushi Pioneer Award, the Best of Citysearch 2006 Best Sushi Award and the 2006 Downtown News Best Sushi Award.
Originally, Sushi Go 55 was called "Godzilla Sushi," but Toho Co., Ltd. objected. At least, that's what the manager told me a few years ago.
