On June 5th, voters in California will have a chance to reject
Proposition 29, a flawed and poorly-drafted measure that raises taxes on
California consumers by $735 million dollars.
Even worse, there is nothing to stop these appointees from treating the money
taken from California taxpayers like a personal slush fund to reward favored
organizations. That is no way to balance a budget.
On June 5th, please remember to Vote NO on Prop 29.
Contrary to claims made by special interest groups who stand to gain
financially from the passage of Prop 29, it will do nothing to solve the state’s
budget crisis. Instead, it will create more bureaucracy filled with political appointees and expand government spending.
On June 5th, please remember to Vote NO on Prop 29.
