The Mainichi has posted an article and photographs of devastated Nagasaki taken by Soviet intelligence in northern Nakasaki one year after the atomic bombing of the city.
According to the article:

The Mainichi has obtained a total of 13 photos of Nagasaki that were taken by the then Soviet Union's military intelligence in September 1946. A portion of the Urakami Cathedral was later moved to the Nagasaki Peace Park's Hypocenter Park. When I visited Nagasaki in 2007, I photographed this portion in the park (top photo).
