We're now in the ninth month of the year and there's only three months to go before it is 2016. This year has flown fast.
As we are now in the beginning of September, it is time to see what airfares look like between Los Angeles and Tokyo.
Yesterday's Los Angeles Times Travel section reported that they found the price range for flights begin on the low end at $743.00 to the high end of $921.00. These, of course, are before any taxes and fees are added in.
Next, I checked my favorite source for airline tickets to Japan, GatewayLAX and this is what they came up with for a departure on September 19 and a September 27 return:
This price is before any taxes or fees are added in. Also, these are the first direct, non-stop round-trip flights between Los Angeles and Tokyo. $435, not bad!
The next airfare report will come in October. Unless, of course, something unexpected happens.
