The Week's Weather

Temperatures at night are about to plunge in Jamestown, New Mexico this week.

The plunge will lower nighttime temperatures down into the 20s starting Tuesday. We may get some rain, but at least no snow is forecast.

According to the National Weather Service:

Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. South wind 5 to 15 mph.
Tonight
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Monday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Monday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph.
Tuesday
A 40 percent chance of showers before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Windy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 29. Breezy.
