The former governor disclosed the affair and love child after firing the maid, 50-year old Patty Baena. Schwarzenegger revealed the affair when Baena threatened to disclose it after being dismissed last January.
I was listening to talk-radio station KFI-AM yesterday and the discussion got very interesting. A couple of major questions were raised: Did the Democrats know about Schwarzenegger's love child years ago? Did they use it to blackmail him into liberal policies?
When Schwarzenegger first ran for governor, he ran as a conservative Republican. For the first two years or so of his governorship, Schwarzenegger did govern as a fairly conservative governor. Then, after his ballot initiatives failed and he won re-election, he seemed to have done a complete 180 and governed as a liberal Democrat.

Was Schwarzenegger blackmailed into the commutation of Esteban Nuñez manslaughter sentence? Was he blackmailed into supporting liberal policies?
Schwarzenegger has a lot of questions that need to be answered. Had this revelation occurred while he was governor, he would have been badly compromised. He would never have been elected governor had this affair been revealed years ago.
