In 18 days, the national park lifetime senior pass will go from its current $10 fee to $80. The last day for getting the senior pass at the lower price is August 27.
CBS Sacramento reported that seniors aged 62 and up are buying passes in droves.
They wrote:
Beginning Aug. 28, the price of the lifetime senior pass will increase to $80.
To lock in at the current price, seniors who are 62 and older are flocking to National Park Service visitors’ centers.
Already, long lines and busy signals are greeting many seniors who are trying to cash in on the deal.
Passes are also available at www.yourpassnow.com for $10, plus an additional $10 service fee.
