After a few weeks of slightly declining gasoline prices, they are beginning to rise again.
That is putting a big crimp into summer vacation planning this year. But, there is an alternative to spending your children's inheritance on gasoline or diesel fuels.

For example, two years ago, I took the Southwest Chief from Gallup, New Mexico to California. The Southwest Chief is the train to take to visit Grand Canyon National Park.
