Delaware Democrats For Composting Human Remains

The state that brought us Joe Biden is now considering a bill for the composting of human remains. That state being Delaware.

Some states already allow this practice (California being one of them).

From The Federalist blog:

A bill to allow composting of human bodies as an alternative to burial or cremation received overwhelming approval in the Delaware state House on Tuesday.

The measure passed the House on a 37-2 vote and now goes to the Senate. It authorizes a practice called “natural organic reduction,” often referred to as “human composting.”

Chief sponsor Rep. Sean Lynn, a Dover Democrat, called the practice a “gentle, respectful, environmentally friendly death care option.”

As the article mentions, maybe Soylent Green is next?

Looney Left Report: Have An Emergency? Get Taxed For Your 911 Call

Looney Left Report: Have An Emergency? Get Taxed For Your 911 Call

The Bluegrass Pundit blog unearthed a story that "bearded Marxist" Chris Coons (the Democrat running against Christine O'Donnell for U.S. Senate in Delaware) once proposed a tax on 911 emergency calls.

O'Donnell Ignoring National Media To Connect With Delaware Voters

Former Governor Sarah Palin has some good advice for Delaware U.S. Senate GOP nominee Christine O'Donnell.

A little while ago, Palin Tweeted:

C. O'Donnell strategy: time's limited;use it 2 connect w/local voters whom you'll be serving vs appeasing nat'l media seeking ur destruction

[Translation: Christine O'Donnell strategy: Time's limited; use it to connect with local voters whom you'll be serving vs. appeasing the national media who is seeking your destruction.]

According to FoxNews' Greta Van Susteren, O'Donnell cancelled two Sunday shows to appear at Delaware events.

Van Susteren posted that O'Donnell will be "in Dover this morning and still plans on attending at the picnic this afternoon in Sussex County at Wilson's Auction in Lincoln, Delaware.

The picnic was one of the reasons given as to why she canceled her two Sunday show appearances."

It appears that the good advice Gov. Palin is giving is being followed by O'Donnell.

O'Donnell vs. "The Bearded Marxist"

Above, Christine O'Donnell.

The establishment pundits have been saying that Christine O'Donnell is "unelectable" as a candidate.

Her victory last night proved them wrong. Voters were repelled by the smears against O'Donnell and voted accordingly.

The choice between O'Donnell and Democrat Chris Coons could not be more clear-cut. O'Donnell is a Reagan conservative, whereas Coons described himself in 1985 as a "bearded Marxist."

Above, Chris "Bearded Marxist" Coons.

Politico posted a story last May on Coons' "bearded Marxist" article which reads in part:

An article Democrat Chris Coons wrote for his college newspaper may not go over so well in corporation-friendly Delaware, where he already faces an uphill battle for Vice President Joe Biden’s old Senate seat.

The title? “Chris Coons: The Making of a Bearded Marxist.”

In the article, Coons, then 21 years old and about to graduate from Amherst College, chronicled his transformation from a sheltered, conservative-minded college student who had worked for former GOP Delaware Sen. William Roth and had campaigned for Ronald Reagan in 1980 into a cynical young adult who was distrustful of American power and willing to question the American notion of free enterprise.

Coons, the New Castle County executive who is running against GOP Rep. Michael Castle for the state’s open Senate seat, wrote of his political evolution in the May 23, 1985, edition of the Amherst Student.

Coons will have a hard time weaseling out of this one. Like Coons, I worked in the 1980 Reagan campaign (I was a California Delegate to the 1980 GOP National Convention in Detroit at age 26) and my political views were long formulated. I was a Reagan California Delegate to the 1976 GOP National Convention at age 22. My political views have not changed in 34 years. Has Coons' political views changed again since college?

Once this story starts making the rounds during the general election campaign, Coons will have an albatross of his own making around his neck. Delaware is home to many corporations and small businesses, and they won't want an anti-free enterprise Marxist representing them in Washington.

GOP Establishment Needs To Get With The Program!

The Tea Party movement scored some major upset victories last night. The main one was the victory of Christine O'Donnell over Rep. Mike Castle in Delaware.

Castle defeated Castle. He ran a nasty campaign and he was called on his voting record including his support for cap and trade. As I told Karl Rove last night, "Castle stepped on his d*ck" in this campaign.

The establishment Republicans are smarting over their losses. The Republican senatorial campaign committee originally said it won't provide funding to O'Donnell, claiming she has "no chance" to win, but has since relented. Mike Castle, showing sour grapes, refuses to endorse her.

Remember, Ronald Reagan wasn't the favorite of the GOP establishment.

R.I.N.O. (Republicans In Name Only) can't count on support anymore. There's been several instances where a R.I.N.O. has been defeated in a primary and goes on to support the Democrat or jumps ship and becomes a Democrat.

Either they support the nominees or they can get out of the party. The internal cannibalism must stop!

To give Christine O'Donnell a fighting chance in November, go to her official campaign website and make a contribution.

UPDATE: National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman John Cornyn quickly offered his endorsement — and a $42,000 check — for the O'Donnell campaign.

"Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee – and I personally as the committee’s chairman – strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine O’Donnell in Delaware," Cornyn said. "I reached out to Christine this morning, and as I have conveyed to all of our nominees, I offered her my personal congratulations and let her know that she has our support. This support includes a check for $42,000 – the maximum allowable donation that we have provided to all of our nominees – which the NRSC will send to her campaign today."

O'Donnell Defeats Castle

Above, Delaware GOP U.S. Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell.

Christine O'Donnell, appears to be the victor in the Delaware GOP U.S. Senate primary over Rep. Mike Castle, a R.I.N.O. Republican.

Delawareonline.com is reporting:

With 98 percent of the primary vote tallied across Delaware, Christine O'Donnell is defeating U.S. Rep. Mike Castle in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate.

In unofficial returns, O'Donnell has 53.2 percent of the votes tallied; Castle has 46.8 percent.

The Associated Press has called O'Donnell the winner.

The ruling-class R.I.N.O. Republicans are probably shaking in their boots tonight!

UPDATE: The Hill is reporting:

A Rep. Mike Castle (R-Del.) campaign source confirmed to The Hill late Tuesday that the longtime congressman will not be endorsing Christine O’Donnell.

Typical of R.I.N.O.s, sore losers!
