I've read that Fukushima still has fatally high radiation levels, but the rest of Japan are below cancer-causing levels. So is it safe to visit Japan considering the radiation issue?
Japan looks like a beautiful place to visit. I have also heard that it is very expensive to visit as a tourist. Any tips on finding good and affordable accommodation?
Japan is safe. The radiation problems are confined to the Fukushima area.
As for finding accommodations, try the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
