A statue honoring Pope John Paul II and President Ronald Reagan was unveiled yesterday in Gdansk, Poland. It is based on a photo of the two during one of the Pope's U.S. visits.
Both men are credited in being instrumental in toppling communism in Poland.
The statue is located in President Ronald Reagan Park in Gdansk.
This is the latest statue honoring President Reagan of several in the former Warsaw Pact counties.

It's interesting that many who make fun of Pres. Reagan (Usually through his mannerisms.)actually do it out of their absolute HATRED if him.
A lot of folks (George "the classless" Clooney et al.)are really disappointed over how the "cold war" turned out. Too bad ...
