The Days of the Dead convention organizers posted the following over at Facebook today:
We have received word that due to a private and personal situation requiring him to stay home with his family, HARUO NAKAJIMA will not be able to travel out of the country and therefore will no longer be attending DAYS OF THE DEAD: Indianapolis. As anyone can imagine, this is a blow that hits us very hard and as big fans of Nakajima's work, comes as a great disappointment - however family comes first and we wish the Nakajimas the best of wishes. We will be remaining in close contact with Nakajima's manager, and as soon as things work themselves out we will begin talks to try and have him re-scheduled for next year's Indianapolis show.
Unfortunately, it is true that Mr. Nakajima will be unable to attend this year's Days of the Dead next month.
We are looking into other convention possibilities for Mr. Nakajima to attend (perhaps before the year is out).
