Today's markets opened with the dollar firmer at ¥99.

According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, Nov. 11 (Jiji Press)--The dollar held firm around 99 yen in Tokyo trading Monday after rising on stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs data for October released on Friday.
At 5:00 P.M., the dollar was quoted at 98.96-99.00 yen in Tokyo.
